The present invention relates to a method for increasing growth or biomass of a plant in a shorter period of time compared to a control plant by transforming a plant cell using a recombination vector comprising a geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase (GGPS) gene, a method for preparing a transgenic plant having higher growth or biomass in a shorter period of time compared to a control plant comprising a step for transforming a plant cell using the recombination vector having the GGPS gene, and a composition for promoting higher growth or biomass of a plant compared to a plant body having higher growth or biomass compared to the control plant prepared using the method, seeds of the plant body, and the control plant having the GGPS gene.Linvention concerne un procédé qui permet de stimuler la croissance ou la biomasse dune plante dans un laps de temps plus court par comparaison à une plante témoin, par transformation dune cellule végétale au moyen dun vecteur de recombinaison comprenant un gène géranyl-géranyl pyrophosphate synthase (GGPS). De plus, linvention concerne un procédé de mise au point dune plante transgénique capable datteindre un niveau de croissance ou de biomasse plus important en un laps de temps plus court par rapport à une plante témoin, ce procédé consistant à transformer une cellule végétale au moyen du vecteur de recombinaison comprenant le gène GGPS.
