The present invention relates generally to a composition comprising palm fruit juice for use in a method of preventing and inhibiting vision loss due to angiogenesis related diseases. The composition of the present invention aids to decrease in CNV size using confocal microscopy, in addition to reduction in macrophage infiltration using immune staining； decrease in VEGF- A-induced angiogenesis using established cornea pocket assay, inhibition of IKB-D phosphorylation in laser treated choroidal tissues and reduction in macrophage recruitment to CNV lesions.La présente invention concerne de manière générale une composition comprenant du jus de fruit de palme destinée à une utilisation dans la prévention et l'inhibition de la perte de la vue due à des maladies associées à l'angiogenèse. La composition de la présente invention favorise la diminution de la taille de la NVC (néovascularisation choroïdienne) lorsqu'on utilise la microscopie confocale, en plus de la réduction de l'infiltration de macrophages lors de l'utilisation de l'immunocoloration ； la diminution de l'angiogenèse induite par le VEGF-A (facteur de croissance endothélial vasculaire A) lorsqu'on utilise un test de la poche cornéenne, l'inhibition de la IKB-D phosphorylation dans des tissus choroïdiens traités au laser et la réduction du recrutement des macrophages dans les lésions de NVC.
