The present invention relates to a drag release system for a fishing reel, which controls a drag force in accordance with rotation of a spool installed in a fishing reel. Specifically, the drag release system for a fishing reel corresponds to tension by controlling the drag force of the spool to reduce the drag force of the spool when the strong tension is applied to the spool while a user is fishing. An insertion hole is installed in a cylindrical driving shaft in a direction being at an orthogonal direction of the shaft to prevent a fishing line from being damaged. A slit having a predetermined length is formed on a sleeve inserted into the driving shaft in an axial direction of the driving shaft by corresponding to the insertion hole. The drag release system for a fishing reel prevents the sleeve from idling on the driving shaft by using a fixing pin connected to the insertion hole and the slit and immediately controls the drag force as the fixing pin guides the movement of the sleeve when the drag force is controlled.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
