PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus having electric joystick mechanism of a simple configuration.
SOLUTION: The ophthalmic apparatus includes: the joystick mechanism including an eye examination unit for examining an eye to be examined, a drive means for moving the eye examination unit relatively to the eye to be examined, an operation rod supported tiltably in any direction, and operation detection means electrically detecting a tilt operation of the operation rod and a control means controlling the drive of the drive means based on operation signals output from the operation detection means, and moving the eye examination unit back and forth and left and right. The joystick mechanism includes: a support mechanism supporting the operation rod tiltably in any direction a movement member provided at the lower part of the operation rod, and horizontally moving in association with the tilt operation of the operation rod and a movement detection means detecting the horizontal movement of the movement member, and outputting the operation signals.
