PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning facility for an animal-rearing chamber which can achieve energy saving while keeping air clean an animal-rearing chamber and to provide an air conditioning method for the animal-rearing chamber.SOLUTION: The air conditioning facility for an animal-rearing chamber 100 that ventilates a chamber 1 for rearing an animal includes: a sensor 14 that directly or indirectly detects an entrance/exit of a person into/from the chamber 1 and ventilating means 2, 52 that ventilate the chamber 1. When the sensor 14 detects a person who has entered the chamber, the ventilating means 2 ventilates with the predetermined first air quantity.
