Provided are an outdoor mosquito repelling system (10) and method implemented in a wearable device (1). The method comprises the following steps: using an ultrasonic sensor (11) to detect a sound wave generated by a mosquito and identify an approach direction of the mosquito according to a signal direction of the sound wave (S21); driving, according to the approach direction of the mosquito, a steering motor (12) to control a laser transmitter (13) to aim at the mosquito in real time (S22); controlling, according to a signal strength of the sound wave, the laser transmitter (13) to emit a laser beam to kill the mosquito (S23); if the signal strength of the sound wave is greater than a preset strength threshold, generating, according to the approach direction of the mosquito, path guiding information guiding an outdoor user to avoid the mosquito, and playing the path guiding information by means of a speaker (14) (S25); and if the signal strength of the sound wave is less than or equal to the preset strength threshold, controlling a blower (15) to produce an impact airstream in the approach direction of the mosquito, such that the mosquito is repelled away from the outdoor user (S26).
