PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus for the artificial culture of mushroom in a plurality of thin culture bottles held in a container to easily perform the work to take a culture bottle out of a container and transfer to another container without necessitating manpower. SOLUTION: This transfer apparatus is provided with a means 22 to alternately transfer a container 9 holding plural culture bottles 2 and an empty container 7, and a loading means 24 to pick up a part of plural culture bottles 2 from the former container 9 transferred by the transfer means and load the picked culture bottles 2 to the empty container 7 transferred by the transfer means 22 after the former container 9.
