PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting machine which can easily plant seed bulbs at suitable ridge positions in a proper planting depth without deforming or breaking the ridges of a field.
SOLUTION: The planting machine includes: a machine frame formed in a state capable of being steered by the operation of a side clutch a planting portion 16 liftably disposed on the machine frame a height detection portion 50 which is disposed in the planting portion 16 and is a height-detecting means for detecting a height of top of a ridge an electrohydraulic cylinder 33 which is a lifting actuator for lifting or lowering the planting portion 16 in response to a detection signal detected with the height detection portion 50 a slope detection portion 60 which is a slope detection means for detecting the positions of the slopes of a ridge and is disposed in the planting portion 16 and a clutch motor 47 which is a steering actuator for operating the side clutch in response to a detection signal detected with the slope detection portion 60.
