Disclosed is an optical needle, comprising a light coupling seat, a needle body in combination with the light coupling seat and at least one lightguide. The needle body comprises a lightguide groove, extending along the longitudinal direction of the needle body and accommodating a part of the lightguide. The light coupling seat provides a coupling interface to couple a light source. An end of the lightguide groove is aligned with the light coupling interface, to align an end of the lightguide with the light coupling interface. The optical needle is characterized in that the long axis of the lightguide reduces from an end aligned with the coupling interface to an end adjacent to the lightguide groove.
