PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose an optical needle provided with a binding seat and a needle body connected to the binding seat and at least an optical fiber.SOLUTION: A needle body is provided with an optical guide groove extending along a lengthwise direction of the needle body 10 for housing a part of the optical fiber. A binding seat 20 is provided with a joint surface to be joined to a light source. In order to position an end of the optical fiber with the joint surface, the end of the optical guide groove is positioned with the joint surface. The optical needle decreases from a part where a major diameter of the optical fiber is positioned with the joint surface to an end adjacent to the needle body.
