PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool enabling a user to apply a compress simply and beautifully to an affected part hard to reach, such as the back.SOLUTION: A compress applying auxiliary tool 10 includes a compress holding surface for exposing a sticking surface by peeling a release paper, and holding in an expanded state. The compress holding surface 14 includes first areas 14a oppositely each to both the end parts in the longitudinal direction of a compress, and a second area 14b positioned between the first areas 14a. The second area 14b is positioned in the center of the compress holding surface 14, and is formed with a plain surface in parallel to a handle surface 12 on a front side.
