PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument erecting device for an endoscope, capable of easily adjusting and readjusting the tension of an operation wire by easy work.
SOLUTION: A wire tension adjusting mechanism comprises a pair of slide-engagement members 11 and 12, one of which is connected to the proximal end of the operation wire 6 and the other of which is connected to an instrument erecting piece operating mechanism 91, to be engaged relatively slidably in the axial direction of the operation wire 6 and fixing screws 14 to fix the pair of slide-engagement members 11 and 12 in a selected positional relation so that the slide-engagement members cannot relatively slide but can integrally slide. Notches 17, through which the fixing screws 14 pass when the fixing screws 14 are screwed, are formed on a guide cover 16.
