According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for measuring the body size of a driver in a vehicle includes a light source providing part for generating a specific pattern from a light source to recognize a driver or an object, a camera for photographing the specific pattern provided from the light source, and a control part for measuring the body size of the driver using the specific pattern and controlling a plurality of devices provided in the vehicle corresponding to the measured body size of the driver.본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 차량 내 운전자의 신체 크기를 측정하는 시스템은 운전자 또는 물체를 인식하기 위하여 광원으로부터 특정한 패턴을 생성하는 광원 제공부, 상기 광원으로부터 제공된 특정한 패턴을 촬영하는 카메라 및 상기 특정한 패턴을 이용하여 운전자의 신체 크기를 측정하고, 측정된 운전자의 신체 크기에 대응하여 차량에 구비된 다수의 장치를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
