PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control light intensity of light sources to individually achieve exposure corresponding to an object and a use in time of observation and photography of a fundus image.SOLUTION: In this light intensity control apparatus, a photometry value calculation portion 19 measures reflected light from the fundus of an eye under illumination of an observation light source 14. An observation light source control portion 25 controls light intensity of the observation light source 14 based on photometry information obtained by the photometry value calculation portion 19, the light intensity of the observation light source 14 in time of photometry, and a correction value of the light intensity of the observation light source 14.
