PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic diagnosis apparatus which determines previously different fluorescence properties depending on the observation site of a subject or the situation (such as progress) of a disease, and bases on an optimal observation condition to observe autofluorescence, thereby to provide a photographed image with a better diagnosing ability.SOLUTION: The endoscopic diagnosis apparatus includes: a light source 12 which has a white light source and excitation light sources LD1, LD2 for radiating two or more excitation light rays with their respective different central wavelengths a photographer for obtaining an autofluorescence image a contrast calculating means 69 for calculating respective contrasts based on the autofluorescence images obtained through prephotographing by a photographing part a storage 72 for storing a plurality of the calculated contrasts together with their respective photographing conditions and a photographing condition deciding means 71 for deciding the photographing condition for actual photographing based on the contrasts. When the apparatus is switched to an ordinary light observation mode, the photographing part executes prephotographing, and then, when the apparatus is switched to an autofluorescence observation mode, the photographing condition deciding means 71 decides the photographing condition for actual photographing based on a plurality of the latest contrasts.
