PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmetallic wheelchair not responding to a metal detector, a wheelchair that can be used in an airport all the way without changing, starting from a boarding procedure after leaving own wheelchair in the custody of the airport, through a security inspection place, until taking a prescribed seat inside an aircraft.SOLUTION: The nonmetallic wheelchair not responding to a metal detector is a hand-push type wheelchair composed of all components with nonmetallic materials. The wheelchair is characterized in that a backrest, a seat, and a connecting section are integrally molded as the body frame, with a footrest arranged in the lower side of the connecting section, that both side plates are installed laterally on the body frame in a manner blocking a square space made up of the seat and the connecting section, with a left/right bearing plates vertically provided in the lateral lower face of an erection plate constructed between both side plates, and that a rear axle is installed in a rear wheel housing space which is formed between both side plates and the left/right bearing plates.
