Functional material regions (50) are provided between the absorptive layer and the front surface sheet, wherein a functional material comprising a quaternary ammonium salt antibacterial agent and a fragrance is arranged in each of the functional material regions (50). Compressed parts (80) are formed by compressing, in the thickness direction, the functional material regions and adjacent layers that are adjacent to the functional material regions as observed in the thickness direction.
