PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple configuration for preventing a wheeled travel body from exhibiting unintended behavior due to a slope member in the wheeled travel body capable of climbing over steps.SOLUTION: A wheeled travel body 1 using a slope member 41 bridged across a step 51 on a traveling surface, with it coming into contact therewith to climb over steps, includes a slope support mechanism 42 that supports the slope member and is supported rotationally about a prescribed rotational shaft. The slope support mechanism is configured to change over, by rotational turning, between a use position in which a position of the slope member comes into contact with a step earlier than wheels, and a retraction position in which the wheels come into contact with the step earlier than that and, from when the slope member located at the use position comes into contact with the step and is bridged across the step, until the slope member climbs over the step, configured to keep the state where the slope member is bridged across the step by the rotational turning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】段差を超えて走行可能な車輪走行体において、スロープ部材によって車輪走行体が予期せぬ挙動を示すことがない簡易な構成を実現する。【解決手段】走行面上の段差51に接触させて掛け渡したスロープ部材41を用いることにより段差を超えて走行可能な車輪走行体1において、スロープ部材を支持するとともに、所定の回動軸に対して回動可能に支持されたスロープ支持機構42を有し、スロープ支持機構は、前記回動によって、スロープ部材の位置が車輪よりも先に段差に接触する使用位置と車輪の方が先に段差に接触する退避位置との間で切り替わり、かつ、使用位置に位置するスロープ部材が段差に接触して掛け渡されてから、スロープ部材を用いて段差を超えるまでの間、前記回動によって、スロープ部材が段差に掛け渡された状態が維持されるように、構成されている。【選択図】図5
