The liquid supply device (50) includes a supply channel (56) through which the liquid is supplied to the ejection unit； a pressurizing unit (54) which pressurizes the liquid in the supply channel； a blocking unit (60) which blocks the supply channel； and a control unit (70) which causes the pressurizing unit to pressurize the liquid in the supply channel in the state where the supply channel is blocked by the blocking unit.
