The liquid supply device includes: a supply channel through which the liquid is supplied to the ejection unit a pressurizing unit which pressurizes the liquid in the supply channel a blocking unit which blocks the supply channel and a control unit which causes the pressurizing unit to pressurize the liquid in the supply channel in the state where the supply channel is blocked by the blocking unit.
