The present invention relates to a sterilization device using chlorine dioxide gas comprising: a chamber with a sterilization room； a chlorine dioxide generating unit for generating wetting chlorine dioxide gas from stable chlorine dioxide gas； a photo-ionization detector which measures the concentration of chlorine dioxide in the chamber； an electronic controlling unit which controls the process of sterilization； an adsorption removing unit which removes the remaining of the chlorine dioxide gas in the chamber after the sterilization process； a controlling panel which is composed of an input unit where sterilization conditions are input and a display unit where sterilization state is displayed； and a printer which outputs the sterilization statement. In the present invention, provided is a sterilization method using wetting chlorine dioxide gas where ultraviolet rays, whose maximum wavelength is 253.7nm and radial output is 1.2-11W/cm^2, is radiated to the stable chlorine dioxide gas in the chlorine dioxide gas generating unit； thus wetting chlorine dioxide gas with 65-95% humidity is generated and even spores are sterilized by objects to be sterilized being exposed to the wetting chlorine dioxide gas for a certain time.본 발명은 이산화염소가스를 이용한 멸균장치에 있어서, 멸균실이 구비되는 챔버와； 안정화이산화염소로부터 습윤이산화염소가스를 발생시키는 이산화염소가스발생부와； 챔버 내의 이산화염소가스 농도를 측정하는 광이온화검출부와； 멸균작업 공정을 제어하는 전자제어부와； 멸균작업 공정이 완료된 후 챔버 내에 체류하고 있는 이산화염소가스를 제거하는 이산화염소가스 흡착제거부와； 멸균작업 조건을 입력하는 입력부 및 멸균작업 상태를 표시하는 표시부로 이루어지는 조작패널과； 멸균작업 내역을 출력하는 프린터를 포함하여 습윤이산화염소가스를 이용한 멸균장치를 형성하고, 이산화염소가스발생부에서 최대피크 파장이 253.7nm, 방사출력 1.2~11mW/㎠의 자외선을 안정화이산화염소에 조사하여 습도 65%~95%의 습윤이산화염소가스를 발생시키고, 상기 습윤이산화염소가스에 멸균대상물을 일정시간 노출시켜 아포까지 멸균시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 습윤이산화염소가스를 이용한 멸균방법을 제공하는 발명이다.
