The headrest (10) comprises a supportingstructure(16) and a sheet-like formed elastic panel (20) attached to the supportingstructure(16) on at least two opposite sides (22, 24) of the elastic panel (20). Theelasticpanel (20) is configured to support at least a part of a head (12) and/or atleast apart of a neck (14) of a patient (11), wherein at least a part of the elasticpanel (20)is stretchable and configured to stretch when said at least part of the head(12)and/or neck (14) of the patient (11) is arranged on the elastic panel (20),such thata shape of said at least part of the elastic panel (20) is formedcorresponding to ashape of said at least part of the head (12) and/or neck (14) of the patient(11).
