The present invention relates to a device and a method of aquatic organism releasing, which serve to increase the survival rate of the released aquatic organism. The device includes: a container having a room and an opening communicating with the room, wherein the container further has a filtering screen extending from and surrounding the periphery of the opening and a plurality of guiding posts correspondingly positioned at and connected to four corners of the container. The pond water is gradually injected into the container to change the water quality after the aquatic organisms in the container are adapted to the temperature of the pond water. Subsequently, the aquatic organisms are released into the pond after adapting to the water quality so as to increase the survival rate of the released aquatic organisms.
