Eine Schultergelenkprothese weist eine mindestens zweiteilige Humeruskopfprothese auf, welche aus einer Kalotte bzw. einem Gelenkkopf (3) besteht und einem Befestigungsorgan (5, 7). Letzteres weist eine Festhaltepartie (15) zum aufsetzenden Festlegen der Kalotte auf sowie einen Montageabschnitt (21) zum wenigstens zementfreien Verankern des Befestigungsorganes im Knochen.
