A pulley for a wire member that reduces frictional resistance with a support shaft and can be used for a long period of time is provided. A pulley 1 for changing the advancing and retreating direction of a wire member, which is substantially annular so that a bearing 13 on which an inner ring portion 13a is pivotally supported by a support shaft (bolt) and an outer ring portion 13b of the bearing can be fitted. The locking means 14 and 15 are provided at at least one place at the boundary between the outer ring portion of the bearing and the inner peripheral portion of the pulley. The locking means is a screw member having a male screw, and is locked by screwing over the bearing and the pulley. The support shaft supports the inner ring portion of the bearing so as to be fixed.
