The present invention is directed towards a walking assistance system (200) for hemiplegic people. In one embodiment, the walking assistance system (200) includes a balancing support (201) that supports shoulder on paralytic side of a patient (101) and helps to balance weight of the patient (101) such that the patient (101) can stand on own. The walking assistance system (200) further includes a motorized contrivance (202) that pushes a paralytic foot of the patient (101) such that the patient (101) can walk on own.
