PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting unit which allows a planting device in a given constitution form to be realized at low cost by combining a plurality of planting units, and a planting device constituted by planting units.SOLUTION: A planting unit 10 constituting a planting device comprises a housing 11. The housing 11 comprises: a mounting space inside which a planting floor material 30 is mounted； a water storage part in which water for plants can be stored for the planting floor material 30 mounted in the mounting space； and a front face opening part 13 in which the planting floor material 30 mounted in the mounting space can be exposed. The housing 11 can be formed with a water supply part 14 capable of supplying water for plants to the water storage part at the upper part of the housing 11. The housing 11 can be formed with a drain part 15 capable of draining water for plants from the water storage part at the lower part of the housing 11.
