PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue regeneration base material having a superior intrusion property into a cell, being unlikely to cause synechia of the tissue and being suitable for a foothold for reinforcing the fragile tissue and for promoting tissue regeneration.SOLUTION: A tissue regeneration base material is formed from a nonwoven fabric consisting of polyglycolide with an average fiber diameter of 0.9-7.0 μm.
