PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent grass from being entangled to a driving source 56 of a scattering member (62) for scattering the mowed grass in a receiving part for receiving the mowed grass of a riding lawn mower.SOLUTION: A riding mower is characterized by being provided with: a traveling vehicle body (2); a seat (11) where a worker is seated; a mowing unit (6) arranged in the front part of the traveling vehicle body (2) and cutting grass; a receiving unit (14) for receiving the grass being cut and mowed in the mowing unit (6) in the inside thereof; a scattering member (62) for making the mowed grass being cut with the mowing unit (6) be arranged in response to a position flowing into the receiving unit (14), and swingably supported in the width direction of the traveling vehicle body (2) to scatter the mowed grass flowing into the receiving unit (14); a driving source (56) for driving the scattering member (62); a recess (53) formed in order to receive the driving source (56) in the front surface of the receiving unit (14) positioned behind the seat (11); and an opening/closing member (71) for opening and closing the front side of the recess (53).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
