The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing solid round emulsion beads by dropping liquid emulsion into a cryogenic freezing refrigerant. The obtained solid round emulsion beads can be stored and used at a low temperature. The solid round emulsion beads can be coated with a solution containing a material which is solid at room temperature or which can form gel. The emulsion beads can be prepared by using liquid emulsion containing additional material, which is solid at room temperature or can form gel, in the water phase of oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion or the oil phase of oil-in-water (W/O) emulsion. The emulsion beads prepared by the present invention can maintain its shape without swelling and/or damage but with stability and does not give any grainy feeling when the liquid emulsion was applied on the skin.본 발명은 실온에서 고체인 지질 물질 또는 겔형성 물질을 함유하는 용액을 연속상에 포함할 수도 있는 액상 에멀젼을 0℃ 이하의 온도로 유지되는 동결냉매에 적하하여 고체상 구슬형 에멀젼 비드를 제조하는 방법 및 제조된 구슬형 에멀젼 비드에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 구슬형 에멀젼 비드는 저온에서 그자체로 보관 및 사용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 실온에서 고형이거나 겔을 형성할 수 있는 물질을 사용하여 수득된 액상 구슬형 에멀젼 비드는 실온에서도 장기간 팽윤 및/또는 파괴없이 안정적으로 형태를 유지할 수 있고, 용기에서 인출하거나 및/또는 피부에 적용할 때에 용이하게 파손되어 액상 에멀젼으로 작용할 수 있고, 파손된 액상 에멀젼을 피부에 도포할 때에 이물감을 주지 않을 수 있다.
