PURPOSE: A vibratory stimulating apparatus is provided to improve balancing ability of a user or posture maintaining capability preventing reduction in recognition function caused by lost sensing ability. CONSTITUTION: A method to give vibration stimulation to a human body using change in muscular activity generated when muscle is contracted or relaxed comprises (a) a measuring step which measures a muscle activity signal of a human skin using a muscle activity detection part； (b) a converting step which converts the measured muscle activity signal into a digital signal； (c) a discrimination step which discriminates whether the muscle activity signal concerted into the digital signal exceeds a first standard value； (d1) a return step which goes back to (a) step in case the muscle activity signal is below the first standard value； (d2) a vibration stimulation step which stimulates the human skin around the detection part with vibration for a first time using a vibration part in case the muscle activity signal exceeds the first standard value； and (e) a step which stops a motion of the vibration part for a second time after the first time is passed in the (d2) step. [Reference numerals] (110) Detection unit of muscular activity； (130) Control unit； (140) Memory； (150) Vibration unit； (160) Input unit； (170) Display unit본 발명은 근활성도 전극을 통하여 수신되는 신체의 근활성도 변화에 대응하여 근활성도 전극이 부착된 신체 주변에 일정한 진동 자극을 주기적으로 가할 수 있는 장치와 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 진동 자극 방법은 (a) 근활성도 감지부를 통하여 근활성도를 측정하는 단계； (b) 상기 근활성도의 값을 판별하는 단계； (c) 상기 판별된 근활성도의 값에 따라 상기 근활성도 감지부 주변의 피부를 진동부를 이용하여 자극시킬지 여부를 결정하는 단계로 이루어진다.이러한 본 발명에 따른 진동 자극 장치를 신체에 부착하여 사용하는 경우 뇌손상환자 혹은 노인들에게서 주로 발생하는 문제 중 감각 소실로 인한 인지 기능의 저하방지함으로써 사용자들의 균형 능력이나 자세 유지 능력을 개선시킬 수 있다. 즉, 본 발명의 진동 자극 장치를 사용하는 경우, 인지능력이 부족한 뇌손상 환자들 혹은 노인들의 균형능력과 자세유지 능력을 향상시킬 수 있다고 기대되며, 본 발명에 따른 진동 자극을 이용한 생체 되먹임 자극을 통하여 환자의 인지 능력을 증가시킴으로써 환자 스스로 동적-정적 움직임을 보다 정확하게 파악할 수 있도록 하여 비정상적인 보행 내지 활동을 스스로 개선할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
