<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hemoglobin-containing liposome, capable of performing its deoxygenation by a simple process, producing the liposome containing the hemoglobin having a low methemoglobin-formation rate and its packaged material in a good efficiency and capable of achieving a high introducing efficiency relative to the used amount of a surface-modifying agent while inhibiting the methemoglobin-formation of the hemoglobin in a heating process for its modification in a simple process even in the case of modifying the outer surface of the liposome with a hydrophilic polymer, and the packaged material of the hemoglobin-containing liposome with a low methemoglobin-formation rate and having an inhibitory effect on the methemoglobin-formation of the hemoglobin on preservation. <；P>；SOLUTION: A method for forming the packaged material comprises (1) preparing the hemoglobin-containing liposome, (2) adding sulfites by the amount of 1-40 mg/mL-liposome for bringing the hemoglobin-containing liposome in contact with the sulfites under pH 6.0-8.0 condition to deoxygenate the liposome. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
