PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant holder for hydroponic cultivation, which is capable of increasing the distance between seedlings with the growth of the seedlings while being difficult to damage the roots thereof, and preventing direct irradiation of light onto the surface of a culture solution to prevent the generation of algae.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a plant holder for hydroponic cultivation comprises a planar main body portion 22 and a plurality of seedling-holding portions 20 provided on the main body portion 22, while having creases and cuts in a square mesh shape. Some of the meshes are seedling-holding portion-attached meshes 15 in which the seedling-holding portions 20 are respectively formed. There are folds on four sides of such a portion. In other words, the folds are formed in between the adjacent seedling-holding portion-attached meshes 15 in the vertical and horizontal directions. A cut is formed in between the adjacent seedling-holding portion-attached meshes 15 in the vertical or horizontal directions. In the folded state of each fold, the interval between the seedling-holding portions 20 narrows and a partition wall that covers substantially the entire circumference is formed on the lower side thereof. In the opened state of the fold, the main body portion 22 spreads out in a planar shape and covers a part or the whole of the liquid surface of the culture solution substantially without any gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】苗の発育に応じて苗の間隔を広げることができ、その際に根を傷め難く、且つ培養液の表面に光が直接照射されることを防いで藻の発生を抑制することができる水耕栽培用植物保持具を開発する。【解決手段】平面状の本体部22と、本体部22に設けられた複数の苗保持部20を有し、四角形の枡目状に折り目及び切れ目がある。苗保持部20が形成された部分を含む苗保持部付き枡目15があり、この4辺に折り目があり、縦及び横に隣接する苗保持部付き枡目15の中間に折り目がある。縦又は横のいずれかに隣接する苗保持部付き枡目15の辺に切れ目がある。各折り目を折り込んだ状態においては、苗保持部20同士の間隔が狭まり、且つその下部側に略全周を覆う仕切り壁が形成される。折り目を開いた状態においては、本体部22が平面状に広がって培養液の液面の一部又は全部を略隙間無く覆う。【選択図】図4
