PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant holder for hydroponic cultivation, which is capable of increasing the distance between seedlings with the growth of the seedlings while being difficult to damage the roots thereof, and preventing direct irradiation of light onto the surface of a culture solution to prevent the generation of algae.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a plant holder for hydroponic cultivation comprises a planar main body portion 22 and a plurality of seedling-holding portions 20 provided on the main body portion 22, while having creases and cuts in a square mesh shape. Some of the meshes are seedling-holding portion-attached meshes 15 in which the seedling-holding portions 20 are respectively formed. There are folds on four sides of such a portion. In other words, the folds are formed in between the adjacent seedling-holding portion-attached meshes 15 in the vertical and horizontal directions. A cut is formed in between the adjacent seedling-holding portion-attached meshes 15 in the vertical or horizontal directions. In the folded state of each fold, the interval between the seedling-holding portions 20 narrows and a partition wall that covers substantially the entire circumference is formed on the lower side thereof.
