PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification device and its priming method in which the priming solution with blood mixed therein from a priming solution circulation line can reliably be prevented from being scattered circumferentially after blood purification treatment.SOLUTION: A blood purification device comprises a blood circuit, a dialyzer 1, an overflow line Lb capable of circulating a priming solution, and control means 18 for making the priming of a blood circuit be performed by supplying or discharging the priming solution to the blood circuit through the overflow line Lb before performing blood purification treatment by purifying blood with the dialyzer 1 while extracorporeally circulating the blood in the blood circuit.
