PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification apparatus for improving the automation of a series of works concerning a blood purification treatment.
SOLUTION: The blood purification apparatus includes: an overflow line L3 which is branched from a part of an arterial side blood circuit 2 or a venous side blood circuit 3 so as to be extended to a dialysate discharge line L2, and guides a fluid flowing in the arterial side blood circuit 2 or the venous side blood circuit 3 to the dialysate discharge line L2 electromagnetic valves V5, V6 (opening/closing valve means for the overflow line) for optionally opening/closing the flow passage of the overflow line L3 and a control means 12 for controlling a blood pump 8 and the electromagnetic valves V5, V6 at preset timings.
