PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic fine particle-containing cells capable of being used effectively in medicinal treatments such as an immune cell treatment, etc., and medical diagnoses such as a magnetic resonance image diagnosis (MRI), etc., and a method for producing such the magnetic fine particle-containing cells in a good efficiency.
SOLUTION: The magnetic particle-containing cells including synthetic magnetic fine particles having 10 to 40 nm mean particle diameter and/or the aggregates of the synthetic magnetic fine particles in the cells are produced by mix-culturing the synthetic magnetic fine particles having 10 to 40 nm mean particle diameter with the cells so as to introduce the synthetic magnetic fine particles into the cells. Thereby, it is possible to provide the magnetic fine particle-containing cells including the fine particles having a small particle diameter and/or its aggregate particles in a good dispersibility, as the magnetic fine-particle-including cells usable in the medicinal treatments such as the immune cell treatment, etc., and medical diagnoses such as the magnetic resonance image diagnosis (MRI), etc., and also, to produce such the magnetic fine particle-including cells in a good efficiency. The magnetic fine particle-including cells can also be applied to a thermotherapy, etc., by utilizing a magnetic induction.
