PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel including display means placed on right and left frames, improving degree of freedom in appearance and degree of freedom in design, and also improving degree of freedom in assembling.SOLUTION: The fishing reel includes: display means placed on the right and left frames 2a, 2b extending parts 31a, 31b provided on both of right and left side plates 3a, 3b and extending from parts fitted to the frames 2 toward the side parts of the display means and a regulating member having engagement parts engaged with the extending parts 31a, 31b, respectively and mounted over the extending parts 31a, 31b.
