PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standing assisting chair enabling a user to smoothly and stably perform all the processes from sitting to sanding up.SOLUTION: The standing assisting chair 1A includes: a base plate 2A a pair of right and left support legs 4, 5 upright provided on both ends of the base plate 2A and a seat plate 3A which is arranged to be movable up and down within a predetermined range of a vertical direction by being urged upward by an urging means while forming a seat surface 30 on the upper surface side between the support legs 4, 5. The chair 1A is used to assist the user to stand up by an urging force of the seat plate 3A. The urging means is formed in such a way that constant load springs 7a. 7b, 7c, 7d constituted by winding strip-like metal plates 71, 72, 73, 74 are arranged and pulled down on the upper parts of the support legs 4, 5 on right and left sides and front ends of the strip-like metal plates 71, 72, 73, 74 are each fixed to both ends on right and left of the seat plate 3A, and the seat plate 3A is suspended and supported so that the seat surface 30 may be in a substantially parallel state.
