PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam sterilizer capable of heating and feeding air at a drying step without entailing the enlargement of the steam sterilizer.SOLUTION: The steam sterilizer 1 is constituted not only to feed, into a chamber 11, a steam generated by heating water 15 at heating and sterilizing steps but also to heat and feed air into the chamber 11 at a drying step via a flow path 40 formed in the interior of a block boiler 16. The steam sterilizer 1 is therefore capable of heating air at the drying step without configuring, in the interior thereof, a separate heating means for heating air.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】蒸気滅菌器の大型化を伴うことなく、乾燥工程の際に、空気を加熱して供給することができる蒸気滅菌器を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】蒸気滅菌器1は、ブロックボイラー16内部に形成された流路40において、加熱工程及び滅菌工程では水15を加熱して蒸気を発生させてチャンバー11へ供給するるとともに、乾燥工程では空気を加熱してチャンバー11へ供給する構成となっている。したがって、蒸気滅菌器1は、その内部に、乾燥工程の際に空気を加熱する加熱手段をわざわざ設ける必要がなく、空気を加熱することができる。【選択図】図1
