La présente invention concerne, donc, un procédé de production dune cellule pluripotente à partir dune cellule somatique, comprenant une étape consistant à mettre ladite cellule somatique en contact avec une bactérie capable de fermentation ou avec un composant ou un produit de sécrétion de celle-ci.本発明の課題は、細胞の癌化の問題がなく、かつ再生医療への応用において安全性が高い多能性細胞の製造方法を提供することである。本発明によれば、体細胞に、発酵能を有する細菌、その成分又はその分泌物を接触させる工程を含む、体細胞から多能性細胞を製造する方法が提供される。
