PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing, having a weight of a rotor reduced as much as possible while maintaining the strength of a reinforcing member for reinforcing the arm part of the rotor.SOLUTION: The rotor 3 of the spinning reel for the fishing includes the reinforcing member 10 bridging a pair of arm parts 3b. The reinforcing member 10 is molded out of a fiber-reinforced resin obtained by impregnating short fibers having an averaged fiber diameter of 4-7 μm and an averaged fiber length of 1.5-4.0 mm within a range of 30-60 mass%, with a matrix resin. The reinforcing member 10 has a cross section structure in the cross section perpendicular to the extended direction in any region, which is composed of a first layer, formed at the surface side, in which the proportion of the short fibers having nearly circular shapes having the minor to major axis ratio of from 1:1 to 1:1.155 is higher, and a second layer formed at the inner side thereof and containing a proportion of the randomly arranged short fibers higher than that of the short fibers in the first layer.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】ロータのアーム部を補強する補強部材における強度を維持し、ロータの可及的な軽量化が図れる魚釣用スピニングリールを提供する。【解決手段】魚釣用スピニングリールのロータ3は、一対のアーム部3b間に橋設された補強部材10を有する。補強部材10は、平均繊維径が4μm~7μm、平均繊維長さが1.5mm~4.0mmの短繊維を30~60質量%の範囲でマトリクス樹脂に含浸した繊維強化樹脂によって成形されており、補強部材10は、いずれかの領域における延在方向に垂直な断面において、表層側に、短長軸長比1:1~1:1.155となる略円形状となる短繊維の比率が多い第1の層が形成され、かつ、その内層側に、前記第1の層の短繊維と比較してランダムに指向した短繊維を多く含む第2の層が形成された断面構造を備えている。【選択図】図1
