PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod that has a male side joint part being applicable even to a solid or hollow pipe and having high durability and has a simple attachment and detachment operation.SOLUTION: The fishing rod using a rod made of a fiber-reinforced resin, which has a joint part for detachably joining a front side rod 20 to a rear side rod 10, allows to have the end face 10K of the female side joint part 10T of the rod 10 to become the female side in the front and rear rods, forms the inside of a ring-like sandwiching part KB positioned in the vicinity of the end face into a cross-sectional noncircular shape and has a contact part TB exhibiting an inner diameter D1 smaller than the inner diameter D3 of the joint part region at the interior side of the sandwiching part in a state in which the female side joint part is not elastically deformed in the inside of the cross-sectional noncircular shape. The thickness of the sandwiching part is substantially constant in the circumference direction. Further, when the male side joint part 20T of the other rod 20 to become a male side is attached and detached, attachment and detachment is made possible only by relative movement in the longitudinal direction against press frictional force of the sandwiching part and the contact part is slidingly contacted with the male side joint part in a prescribed region in the length direction of the male side joint part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】雄側継合部は中実でも中空管でも適用できて耐久性が高く、更には着脱操作が単純な操作となる釣竿を提供する。【解決手段】前側の竿杆20と後側の竿杆10とを着脱可能に継ぎ合わせる継合部を有する繊維強化樹脂製竿杆使用の釣竿であって、該前後の竿杆の内の雌側となる竿杆10の雌側継合部10Tの端面10Kを含むことを許容して該端面の近傍に位置している環状の挟持部KBの内面を断面非円形に形成すると共に、該断面非円形の内面には、雌側継合部が弾性変形していない状態では前記挟持部よりも奥側の継合部領域の内径D3よりも小さな内径D1を呈する当接部TBを有しており、前記挟持部の肉厚は円周方向において実質一定であり、更には、雄側となる他の竿杆20の雄側継合部20Tを着脱させる際に、前記挟持部との押圧摩擦力に抗する前後方向の相対移動だけで着脱が可能であると共に、前記当接部が雄側継合部の長さ方向所定範囲に亘って摺接する。【選択図】図2
