PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a medical instrument which is excellent in lubricating durability even when a coating is applied in a thin film state to a metal base material, and has new functions by which the lubricating durability does not fall off also to calcium ion in blood by solving the problem that securement itself of the lubricating durability is difficult and furthermore, the lubricating durability falls off by calcium ion in blood since there is the problem though various methods for thinning film thickness of a coating resin layer as much as possible are considered so far in manufacturing of guide wire for treatment or the like.
SOLUTION: The medical instrument is constituted by fixing maleic anhydride copolymerization compound which has specific amide bond on the base material surface constituting the medical instrument.
