PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the deodorization efficiency of a deodorization filter used for an air cleaner or the like without increasing pressure loss.
SOLUTION: The deodorization filter 5 comprises wire rods 2 forming a net 1 having rectangular cells. Activated carbon 3 is loaded onto the circumference of the wire rods by an adhesive 6, and an opening 4 is provided in the center of the each cell of the net 1. The deodorization filter 5 is formed by layering a plurality of nets 1 so that the positions of the openings 4 are aligned. With such a configuration, the deodorization filter 5 can be manufactured easily, can be supplied inexpensively, and can perform deodorization function stably with little pressure loss.
