To provide an apparatus and method for washing colons.SOLUTION: An apparatus for washing colons includes: a jet head 631 having an inner face having a shape partially fitted in an outer circumference of a distal end portion of a colonoscope 604； multiple jets positioned in a jet head, arranged to spray a fluid on a colon, and coming in fluid-communication with an external source of the fluid through at least one tube； a gas inflow port for supplying pressure gas to the jet head 631； and a substance output tube for making liquid and feces pass and be eliminated, and having an inner face having a shape partially fitted in a portion of the colonoscope in a position being more proximal than the jet head.
