The present invention relates to a tableted chewing gum composition for oraladministration of cannabinoids, the composition comprising a plurality ofparticles,including a first population of particles comprising water-insoluble gum baseand asecond population of particles comprising water-soluble chewing gumingredients,and the composition constituting at least two layers, wherein a first layer ofthecomposition comprises water-insoluble gum base and a second layer of thecomposition, which is cohered to and adjacent to the first layer, compriseswater-soluble chewing gum ingredients, the second layer being free of water-insoluble gumbase, and wherein the composition comprises one or more cannabinoids.
