PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved operating assembly that enables a remotely located spectator to have sufficient visibility of an operating area during an operation.SOLUTION: The operating assembly comprises: a support (24) operating lighting apparatuses (18, 22) having lighting support arms (38, 40) mounted on the support and an observation apparatus (16) including a camera support arm (30) mounted on the support to be pivotally movable, a camera module (32) having a camera support (50) attached to the camera support arm so as to be pivotally movable and a driving means for driving the camera support, and a control means (42) for controlling the driving means.
