A method for shaping keratin fibres comprising: providing a crosslinking composition, wherein the crosslinking composition comprises: an active agent, wherein the active agent is selected from the group consisting of: oxoethanoic acid, 2,2-dihydroxyethanoic acid, 2,2-oxybis(2-hydroxy)-ethanoic acid, a derivative thereof, and mixtures thereof and wherein the active agent has a molecular weight of 500 g/mol or less a photocatalyst a cosmetically acceptable carrier and applying the crosslinking composition to keratin fibres, mechanically shaping the keratin fibres with an appliance or implement, and exposing the composition to electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength of from about 300 nm to about 750 nm. Also a related composition, use, kit and process.La présente invention concerne un procédé de formage de fibres de kératine comprenant : la fourniture dune composition de réticulation, la composition de réticulation comprenant : un agent actif, lagent actif étant choisi dans le groupe constitué de lacide oxo-éthanoïque, lacide 2,2-dihydroxy-éthanoïque, lacide 2,2-oxybis(2-hydroxy)-éthanoïque, un dérivé de ceux-ci, et des mélanges de ceux-ci et lagent actif ayant un poids moléculaire de 500 g/mol ou moins un photocatalyseur un véhicule acceptable en cosmétique et lapplication de la composition de réticulation sur des fibres de kératine, le formage mécanique des fibres de kératine avec un appareil ou un dispositif, lexposition de la composition à un rayonnement électromagnétique ayant une longueur donde denviron 300 nm à environ 750 nm.
