PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process which can efficiently manufacturing a film having a cyclic honeycomb structure where holes having the same pore diameter are formed, and to provide apparatus for manufacturing the film.
SOLUTION: A process of manufacturing a film comprises the steps of: forming a solution film, consisting of a polymer solution and having a predetermined thickness, on a substrate spraying a humidified gas from a nozzle onto a surface of the solution film so that a flow of the gas exists in parallel to the surface and moving the nozzle to the direction opposite to the spraying direction of the gas and parallel to the surface of the solution film to form water droplets on the surface of the solution film by moisture condensation evaporating the solvent contained in the solution film and evaporating the water droplets contained in the solution film. The holes corresponding to water droplets are formed inside or on the surface of the film.
