In orderto further develop a generic inhaler in an advantageous manner, especially soas to charge the dosing chamber by separating a specific amount of substancefrom the reservoir, the dosing chamber (26) can be rotationally moved in asuperimposed fashion while being arranged eccentric to a corresponding axis ofrotation (x).
